Well, somebody's afraid of the Surge...heh..

Looks like both the Democrats and the Insurgents are afraid of the surge.  What if it works....this would be the Dems worse nightmare.  The Dems know they cant allow this thing time to work.  Hopefully Bush has acted soon enough to get the troops on the way.

Actually not many additional troops are really going.  In fact no one is going that wasn't already scheduled to go.  Just in a different order.  But be on the watch out for what are now being called "Patriotic Terrorists" such as Hagel, Biden et al.

Is there any time that "political assassination" can be contemplated...or is it more in the line of "political suicide"...on the Dems part.   Continue to be seen as the Defeaters in charge.  With Hagel at the front and he is a Repub....what a sham...or shame.

Grays Anatomy Dude Sent to Re-Education Camp...

Well well folks, seems that calling a fag a fag will get you sent to the new version of the Re-education camp.  Wonder if they use the same techniques the Left has used in Cambodia, Viet Nam, China, Harvard, Columbia Univ. etc.

CAIR upset about 24...Sounds about right to us.

Producing a plausible TV show about international terrorism without depicting Muslims is like producing a plausible TV Western without depicting cowboys.

Should Alfonso Robles Be Fired for Thwarting DHS Rules on Purpose

This is an astounding turn of events by a lawyer for a sub set of the DHS.  Deliberately thwarting a rulemaking process...

On a January 11, 2006 teleconference for immigration lawyers sponsored by the American Bar Association, Laura Reiff, a former INS attorney representing low-wage employers who hire large numbers of illegal aliens, said that the Chief Counsel of Customs and Border Protection (CBP)* Alfonso Robles, told her at a meeting at U.S. Department of Homeland Security headquarters in late December that his office was giving low-wage employers “a little Christmas present” by not sending the proposed regulation to the Office of Management and Budget at the White House. Failure to send a regulation to OMB effectively kills the proposed reform bureaucratically, out of the public eye.

Why is Julie Myers still the Head of ICE , her appointment is up...?

And her pseudo raids cost over 2 million dollars for hotels, overtime, and will likely result in few or no real arrests.  Most Mexicans go home that time of year anyway to they got free trips home until the can steal their way back in to steal your jobs.  Myers is so despised by the argents Im not sure how anything gets done.

Walmart Bent on Destroying Family Life

Well, I see Walmart will now make it harder for families to schedule day care etc by implementing software to predict when customers will be shopping.  Then employees will be either called in to work or sent home if a lull is seen.  This will create a nightmare for people to schedule family time and other required actions.

Should continue to provide reasons not to shop there ...

Dave Barry Has the Year End Highlights

Dave puts it all in perspective:

"It was a momentous year, a year of events that will echo in the annals of history the way a dropped plate of calamari echoes in an Italian restaurant with a tile floor. Decades from now, our grandchildren will come to us and say, "Tell us, Grandpa (or Grandma as the case may be), what it was like to be alive in the year that Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Britney Spears and Katie whatshername all had babies, although not necessarily in those combinations." And we will smile wisely and emit a streamer of drool, because we will be very old and unable to hear them.

And that will be a good thing, because there are many things about 2006 that we will not want to remember. This was the year in which the members of the United States Congress, who do not bother to read the actual bills they pass, spent weeks poring over instant messages sent by a pervert. This was the year in which the vice president of the United States shot a lawyer, which turned out to be totally legal in Texas. "
